I'm referring specifically to the "raid" on Kabot's family's homes. The word around Town Hall is that Skip made a closed-door demand that the Bldg Dept (and Michael Benincasa, Chief Building Inspector, formerly of "Crookhaven" - is Skip's closest ally !) along with the NEWLY active Code Enforcement (where were they all these years when we needed them?) suddenly decide to pull a raid in late October! And then to use those violations in a major mailing campaign (I received no less than 4 of them) by Skip against Linda! Skip - your claims of honesty and leadership has certainly fallen double digit points in my view of you! Even if those violations are accurate - to pull that raid and use it in your campaign is totally repugnant! I understand politics - but as an incumbant, you did not need to stoop so very low as this. I can only now assume the gossip around Town Hall about you all these years as a backroom-doubledealing-backstabber must have been true !!!!! I can't begin to tell you how repulsed I am !! As to your Duck move -- if Flanders votes you in just because of the Duck -- then Flanders must be in much deeper hole than anyone thought. And the rest of Southampton paid for that move just so Skip could win their minds (which I now believe is much smaller than the size for which I originally gave them credit).
